The sizes are a bit odd but they are in centimeters as well as inches. It may be a little difficult because you may not want to take out a tape measure and measure yourself. If you have some string, wrap it around the area that you need to measure on your body and then refer to the tape measure to measure in inches. I know this is a little difficult to do and it will take some time, but taking a little bit of time to do so may save you the hassle of returning the item.
